Celia Maldonado (Ruiz), 65, was born on August 20, 1951 to Isaac Ruiz and the late Maria De La Paz Garcia in El Maguey, Acambaro, Guanajuato, Mexico. She peacefully passed away at home in Arlington Heights on May 27, 2017 under the care of her loving husband, daughter, and sister. Beloved wife of 42 years to Hipolito Maldonado and loving mother to Carolina (Fernando). Cherished grandmother to Damian and baby to come in November. Dear sister of Irma (Froylan) Gomez, Abraham (Maria) Ruiz, Yolanda (Ezequiel) Pantoja, and Graciela Ruiz. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Celia was the best mother and will be missed dearly. She always demonstrated her strength to others and gave great advice.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00-9:00 pm at Friedrichs Funeral Home and funeral mass will be at St. Cecilia Church.
Interment All Saints cemetery.
